A couple weeks ago my friend from college, Dorothy Snyder, came up from Florida to photograph my engagement photos.  It started to rain the first day, so it ended up being a two day session.  We went around Shenandoah and Waubonsie Park in Nebraska City. With my obsession of photography, I wanted to have lots of different photos. I always tell my clients that they do not want to take a lot because its so hard to choose.  I should have listened to my own advice because now I have so many favorites. I have posted a few my favorite images.  To view more photos, please visit www.disphotoblog.com. Thanks again, Dorothy!

When Dylan’s mom booked his senior session, she told me that he wasn’t really enthusiastic about having photos taken.  Not many guys do though. I think by the end of the session Dylan was having fun and it didn’t turn out as bad as he thought. He is really photogenic and a natural in front of the camera.  This was probably one of the most difficult sessions to proof because he has so many great looks.  I had a good time with Dylan and his mom and I’m glad he decided to go ahead & get senior photos done.  You did a great job Dylan and I hope you like the photos!!

The Snyder Family has been trying to get a family photo set up for a while and is finally accomplished. Luckily, we had a nice day for November. We photographed at their pond and a few locations nearby. I’m glad they found time in their busy schedules to have this done and I hope I have the opportunity to photograph Mark, Krystalle, and Josie again.  Thank you and hope you enjoy the photos.

The Burnison Family has not had a portrait done in awhile so we also did extended family portraits.  We luckily captured the color of the leaves before they fell and just finished photographing just as it started to rain.

Hope you guys enjoy the photos!!

I’ve had four sessions with Bella so far.  This time was her two year portraits so you would think that I would know exactly what to do to get her to look at the camera, but I guess not.  She couldn’t sit still for a second.  She kept saying ” I done mom, I done.”  She got a little upset and started to cry, but when mommy gave her the cake she was happy as could be.  I’m glad that she was herself because the million different expressions are what family won’t remember years down the road.  It was hard for me to photograph when she makes me laugh the whole time.  It’s never a dull moment with Bella’s portraits and I’m sure it’s not going to change.  Here’s a look at the “good girl, gone bad.” :)

This past weekend I had the opportunity to photograph a special lady and her family. Phyllis had her 80th birthday, but she doesn’t act a day over 20! When I asked her to take a few photos by herself she struck a few poses.  This family was super nice and full of laughs. I’m glad that I was able to capture this milestone. Thanks!

I had such a great time with this senior session.  Even though we spent two days photographing, the time flew by.  We went to the Old Market in Omaha for something a little different.  Kelsey was so laid back and up for anything.  At one point we managed to sneak up on the geese for a photograph just for fun.

Thanks Kelsey. I hope you enjoy the photos.
